INTERPRETATION LOCATION
📍 Bloemfontein and surrounding areas, Free State
Candidates applying for this opportunity must currently reside in Bloemfontein or the surrounding Free State region. This will allow them easy access to their internship location and full participation in the program.
INTERPRETATION DURATION AND COMPENSATION
📅 Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract
💰 Monthly stipend: R3,800
The internship program will last twelve months and will include a formal on-the-job training agreement. During this period, interns will receive a monthly stipend of R3,800 to cover basic living and transportation expenses while gaining work experience.
The program aims to facilitate the transition of graduates from academia to the professional workplace. Interns will become familiar with real-world processes and responsibilities within the sector, enabling them to expand their knowledge and skills in the information technology industry.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants wishing to apply for this internship must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid South African identity document.
- Have completed a Diploma, Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5), or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- The degree must include a specialization or strong focus on Cloud Computing.
- Be currently unemployed and actively seeking work experience.
- Reside in or near Bloemfontein in the Free State.
- Not have previously participated in or been enrolled in any SETA-funded program. Candidates who meet these requirements will be considered for the program and may be shortlisted for further assessments or interviews.
