Pronto Security is recruiting for the following position:

Position: Security Guard
Number of positions available: 10
Location: Durban

Selected candidates will be assigned to various facilities where they will perform essential security duties to ensure that operations run safely and smoothly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Guards assigned to these positions will be responsible for carrying out a variety of security-related tasks. These duties may include:

• Monitoring access points and controlling the entry and exit of people and vehicles.
• Conducting routine patrols to ensure the security of the facility.
• Observing and reporting any suspicious activity or security risks.
• Ensuring that all visitors comply with facility security procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records of incidents, visitors, and activities when necessary.
• Responding quickly and effectively to security breaches or emergencies.
• Maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity.

Security officers must also maintain a professional demeanor at all times when interacting with staff, visitors, and the general public.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants interested in these positions must meet the following requirement:

✔️ Valid PSIRA Certificate – Grade C

Candidates must hold a valid Grade C PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) certificate, which confirms they are properly registered and qualified to work in the security sector in South Africa. This certification ensures that security personnel have the necessary training and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and responsibly. Candidates who demonstrate reliability, discipline, and excellent observation skills will be well-suited for this position.

LOCATION
