JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases and providing them with helpful product information. One of their main responsibilities will be interacting with customers in-store, answering their questions, and helping them choose the right products for their needs.
In addition to serving customers in-store, the successful candidate will also support online sales activities. This includes uploading products to Facebook Marketplace, responding to online customer inquiries, and assisting customers who visit the store after viewing products online. Excellent communication skills are required to interact with both in-store and online customers.
Product knowledge is essential for this role. The Sales Associate will receive training on the products sold in the store and will be responsible for testing them and explaining their features and benefits to customers. This helps customers make informed purchasing decisions and improves the overall shopping experience.
The position also includes merchandising responsibilities. The selected candidate will help organize and display products in assigned sections, ensuring shelves and displays are tidy, attractive, and well-stocked. Maintaining store cleanliness and order in assigned areas is another important responsibility.
Marketing plays a key role in this position. The sales associate will help promote the store, its online shop, and its products through daily marketing activities, both in-store and on social media. This includes posting product promotions, engaging with customers online, and contributing to increased store visibility and sales.
Additionally, the position involves handling customer inquiries by phone, answering questions, providing product information, and advising customers on available items and services.
