ABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position is located at e-CAR Menlyn, a well-established workshop recognized for its efficiency and high vehicle turnover. The workshop has 16 service bays, ensuring a constant and continuous workflow. This means that successful candidates will have the opportunity to work daily with a wide range of vehicles, gaining valuable hands-on experience and maintaining a steady income stream.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements. Candidates must hold Red Seal certification, which demonstrates their full qualification and competence in their trade. A minimum of five years of experience is required after obtaining the certification, ensuring that applicants possess the necessary knowledge and practical experience.
Experience with multiple makes is essential, as the workshop services a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. Applicants should be comfortable working with different systems and diagnosing a broad range of mechanical and technical issues.
A valid driver’s license is also required. In addition, candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Self-motivation and attention to detail will be key to success in this role.
ADDITIONAL BENEFIT
While not required, knowledge of automotive electrical systems will be considered a significant advantage. Candidates with experience in vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting will stand out, as these skills bring great value to the workshop and improve service efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to high quality standards. This includes accurately identifying faults and ensuring repairs are done correctly the first time. Maintaining quality work and adhering to safety regulations will be essential.
The successful candidate will also be expected to work efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaboration with team members and maintaining a clean and organized workspace are important aspects of the role.
