The Parts Sales Executive will be responsible for handling customer inquiries about parts, identifying necessary components, and ensuring all sales are processed accurately and efficiently. The position requires in-depth product knowledge, as well as the ability to recommend additional parts or related products to maximize sales opportunities. Therefore, candidates must have the confidence and ability to upsell when appropriate, while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
In this role, the successful candidate will interact with a variety of customers, including walk-in shoppers, workshop staff, and other business clients. Providing professional service and building strong customer relationships will be critical. Therefore, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
The Parts Sales Executive will also be responsible for administrative tasks related to parts sales. These tasks may include order taking, checking stock availability, preparing quotes, processing invoices, and accurately recording all transactions in the company’s systems. Consequently, a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills will be essential.
The position requires someone with experience using computers and sales systems, as daily tasks will involve using computerized inventory and sales management systems. Proficiency in computer skills will help the selected candidate efficiently manage orders, update stock records, and process customer requests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have a minimum of two to three years of proven experience in spare parts sales. Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record of meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service in a similar environment.
They must possess extensive product knowledge and be able to confidently identify and recommend the right components for customers. The ability to upsell and increase sales value will be highly valued for this position.
