Eagle Eye Security Specialists (EESS) is seeking experienced and highly professional bodyguards to join its team on a fixed-term contract. This opportunity is located in East Rand, Gauteng, and is ideal for individuals with extensive experience in high-risk security environments, committed to excellence, discipline, and client safety.
LOCATION AND AGE
Positions are available in the East Rand, Gauteng region. Applicants must be between 25 and 45 years old. This requirement ensures that candidates possess the maturity, physical fitness, and professional experience necessary to perform effectively in demanding and high-pressure situations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet several strict requirements. Applicants must hold a recognized personal protection qualification with accredited certification in executive or personal protection services. A minimum of three years of proven experience in a professional personal protection environment is required, and candidates must be able to provide verifiable references.
In addition, applicants must hold an advanced driving certification, including tactical, evasive, and defensive driving skills. A valid and up-to-date PSIRA Grade B driving license is mandatory. Candidates must also hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Firearms proficiency is essential for this position, and applicants must hold valid SAPS firearms proficiency certificates for both handguns and rifles. A valid Code 8 driver’s license and access to reliable personal transportation are also required. Furthermore, candidates must hold a valid and current Level 3 First Aid certification.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected candidates will be responsible for providing personal protection services to high-profile clients in various operational environments. This includes ensuring client safety at all times while maintaining a professional and discreet presence.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing safe travel routes, developing emergency response strategies, and implementing safe haven procedures when necessary. Personal protection officers will accompany clients to their destinations, maintaining a secure perimeter and constant vigilance.
The role also involves conducting counter-surveillance operations to identify and assess potential threats. Officers must be able to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety of clients and the team at all times.
Additionally, candidates will be required to cooperate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel when necessary. Strict adherence to all legal and operational requirements related to firearms and protective services is essential. Maintaining a high level of physical fitness, alertness, and discipline is a constant requirement for this position.
