Roots Midrand Butcher Shop, conveniently located across from Boulders Mall, is seeking hardworking and dedicated general employees to join its growing team. Selected candidates will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the store.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General staff will be responsible for assisting with various daily tasks within the store. This includes supporting the butcher and retail teams with general duties such as cleaning, restocking shelves, packaging products, loading and unloading merchandise, and ensuring the store environment remains clean and organized.

Employees in this role may also assist in preparing products for display, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring that work areas are always kept clean and safe. General staff will often be required to move merchandise, operate equipment, and support other staff members during peak periods.

In addition to manual tasks, employees may interact with customers, guiding them to products or assisting them with basic inquiries. For this reason, good communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.

Working in a butcher shop requires teamwork, responsibility, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Successful candidates must be able to work efficiently, pay attention to detail, and adhere to workplace safety procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
